Audi R8 Discounts

Hi All,

I was wondering what discounts people have been able to get on the new shape Audi R8 when buying new?

I was originally told there were no contributions available from Audi, so no discounts. Of course, I laughed at this and kept going until I found out that I was a friend of a friend of a friend (cars... small world and all that) and, funnily enough, got to £12k off.

Would CarWow beat this, or have any of you guys independently?

You always get a sizeable discount on an Audi.

As posted above, Broadspeed then Carwow the way to go.

I've heard >20k from a gentleman about to take delivery of a brand new Plus; bought his outgoing RS6 from him.

Taking those two figures and throwing some options into the mix something in the teens sounds quite realistic.

Find an old unit in dealer stock and you will see how keen they are to sell it to you. At £12k off they were still laughing all the way to the bank.
I would want £20k just for starters

When I worked at Audi, it was at least 10% if you made the right noises.
£20k wouldn’t happen in my experience, not to say it hasn’t elsewhere.
A lot of dealers struggled to move them initially, though the branch I worked at we had a great R8 specialist with great connections, couldn’t get enough cars to sell!
