Contemplating as I regularly do about changing to a 458 from my 599. I know why I would want to change from a driving point of view but not sure it makes financial sense. The 599 values have dipped a little recently but I would think they would remain fairly stable over the next few years. However not sure that will be the case with the 458 or am I wrong. I would hate to pay more for the 458 now only to find in 3 years time that its worth less than my old 599. I know its not all about money with cars but it is a bit.

What is the year, colour, spec etc of your 599 and what price are you hoping for? (Email if you prefer) I am possibly looking for one.

My feeling is the 458 will probably hold it's value as least as well as, and if not more than the 599 due to it being the last n/a mid engined V8 and have a broader appeal than the 599, (also lower ownership costs)

Cheers

That is the one thanks.

Its done 37k miles servicing it in the next week or so. Had two new rear tyres and full vehicle inspection recently by specialist. Full Ferrari service history. 22/ 21" Novitec NF4 Forged alloys (£8.8K), Capristo exhaust (£4K) adds 37bhp. Recent wheel refurb and colour change to standard ferrari silver.

£108K which is what I paid for it in July. It would have a fresh service, already has new rear tyres, full independent inspection with work and refurbished alloys. Will have spend just under £5K on it.

I read a previous post where someone commented that they looked like aftermarket shields....are they factory options or aftermarket?

I assume this is a wind up!

Back to topic would be good.
