i have never owned F before and recently started looking. I have a beginner question as stated in the title, what is the righ level of discount LHD F should have compared to RHD. I am not talking about the special version like Enzo etc.

For example see below, similar mileage with similar spec, LHD has about 16% discount to RHD. is this normal or something unique about this case? In addition, is there anyway one can find out the history of the imported car before it hit UK? Thanks very much for your help and apologies if this question has been asked before (did a quick research and did not find anything).

By and large in recent times many RHD cars in the UK traded at a premium due to lower build numbers than LHD.

If looking for a LHD Speciale, I would also look in Germany/on the continent ( www.mobile.de ) - bigger selection of cars.

Good luck with your search

Answering the last question first, any Ferrari Main Dealer can check what work has been done by any Main Dealer given the chassis number. I don't know how much they will tell you but I expect they would, at a minimum confirm that there are no recalls outstanding and probably that services have been done (it would be very surprising if they hadn't anyway). For more than that I think you would probably need to do a bit of legwork starting with where the car was supplied to new (Ferrari's system or the car's warranty will tell you that).

I only have history on the Coutts car since it came to the UK. I know it is a Euro car. Coutts have had it for sale at the same price since October last year.

The HWM car was, I believe, supplied new by Carr's of Exeter in December 2015 and sold by them to the second owner in May 2017 (asking £359,995 at 700 miles). It was then for sale again with Carr's in November 2017 (initially at £359,995 then £349,950 with 750 miles) until February this year. It then reappeared at Amari's (£339,458) until the end of April when presumably sold (or was withdrawn from sale). At HWM for the last month at £349,000 with a few extra miles on the clock.

I can't really say whether the differential between the two cars is fair. Whilst asking prices for Speciales have crept up again recently I would still say both cars are overpriced but then I'm not a buyer or seller.

What a strange answer! RHD cars in the UK always trade at a premium to LHD cars in the UK because the UK is a RHD market and generally UK buyers prefer RHD.

Might not have made myself clear - I meant RHD cars to LHD cars. As a current example a RHD M3 CSL is worth less than a LHD CSL as they made proportionally a lot more RHD cars compared to other special cars .
A LHD 720s is also worth more than a RHD version I believe

Yes, Mclarens do not seem to be in free fall over in Europe as they are here in the uk.In fact, most cars are costing more over there right now due to our weak pound.

I feel so too but maybe this is first time I deal with F dealers but I feel they just refused to negociate. I viewed 2 cars with 2 different vendors and both said they would not even consider any discount higher than 5%. I would just wait and see. But thanks for your help.
