Great power output - 986hp. Sets the new supercar benchmark.

Weight - 1700+ kg real weight. Seriously? I guess that's what happens when built from aluminium and not carbon.

Should be named the "Super Fattie 90"

Looks good from front, but messy from the rear. However really need to see it in the metal.

The 918 in non WP form was about 1700kg...... The Ferrari is heavy but not terribly so for what it is.

Just back from last night's release and in the metal it's stunning. Each to their own of course, and I had to stare at the rear for a while as there's a lot to take in, but think its fantastic. Not seen any shots yet that do justice to the instrument cluster, a 16 inch screen which can be configured as you want to - very un-Ferrari-like One of the displays showed the entire screen as a satnav, with the head up display projecting what you needed on to the screen, In a 1000p Ferrari. Amazing.

Cars are getting faster and faster, but that doesn’t make them more enjoyable to drive. The visual drama is lost on me with this new car too, somebody described it elsewhere as a 1000bhp NSX.

looks like it's crying from the front, not keen on the styling

can understand why Ferrari have done it as it'd be undriveable without them but there's just too much electronics and driver aids around imo

I meant 1700kg for a 918 on a full tank as I try to quote weights fully fuelled. 1645 WP with half tank would be in line I think? 40kg WP difference, 30kg fuel for the remaining half tank.
