Autocar: 575 Superamerica drive
Discussion
they tested the car in Monaco and it looks superb. the roof is a great bit of kit and it doesent spoil the way the car performs or behaves on the road.
the only downside was that, the options are a bit pricey and the engine is a bit muted plus UK allocation is all but gone, but what a car!
what do you think?

Would dearly love a 575 but I wouldn't bother with the trick roof. It's a little too bling for me.
Manual/HGTC/Fiorano for me and I'd die a happy man. My friend's dreading offering his for sale, he paid list a couple of years ago for his car, I suspect it will be put on a pitch when his F430 arrives.

Hmmm, the "flying buttresses" don't do it for me styling wise. Either a coupe or a full fold-away canvas roof (leaving uncluttered lines) for me. A nice idea, but no thanks.
The Autocar test car was a lovely colour though (apart from the 2tone steering wheel - )
Autoexpress has some shots of the 575 replacement on test in todays issue. I hope they're using a modified 612 body for testing only. The 612 looks great in the metal, but I'd prefer the real thing to have individuality. A nose like the "new Dino" in Autocar from a few weeks ago would be nice (ie 430ish headlights, small 575 grille with 430/sharknose intakes in the bumper).
