Weird ticking/tapping noise from cali t

Got sent this just now and have no idea what it could be.

I realise it could be a million different things but the car is 150 miles away from me and I just want to see if anyone has heard anything similar before?

Hi sorry but no not experienced.

It sounds to me like an auxilliary belt but I am not a mechanic.

you might get more exposure on a standard forum like 'general gassing' ?

Yeh someone suggested it may be a belt or water pump so having to get it recovered.

That sounds less like tapping and more like grinding to me. Failed bearing of some sort. Could the source of the sound be narrowed in on (front /rear / left / right / top / bottom of engine bay?)

I'm going to go for failed/failing timing chain tensioner, or maybe just the chain guide/shoe. Let us know what they find.
