Power Warranties
Discussion
Thanks for that, it has definately convinced me to go ahead and buy the power cube warranty. Car is 3 years old now and I think I will sleep better knowing that the next years expenditure is under control.
The service and belts ended up being a little cheaper than I thought as there was no other work needed, so I guess that helps towards the cost. Looking forward to getting it back before the weekend...sun is still shining in London!!!

i'd go for it, within a year of buying my 355 I had an £8k bill that was picked up by them, then a bit later when the warranty had expired I put a rod through the block, the rebuild cost over £12,000
When was this ? Are you sure that wasn't a Formula warranty ? The new Power warranties have a maximum claim amount per claim, and I'd be surprised if you'd get an engine rebuild covered by it.
I asked Graypaul about it, using the engine-rebuild claim as an example, and they said "we would probably come to the customer to meet some of the cost"..
2.5 yrs ago I had to request a Power warranty from Graypaul as they didn't know the difference between it and a Formula (the latter of which I was being offered). The key differences being no claim ceiling (at the time) but they could only be put on cars less than 6yrs old.
Call Ferrari UK's warranty people for proper info. And have a very good read of the t's and c's, using the theory "if it's vague, I'm not going to be covered" to indicate what's covered...
