Can't seem to get this to work ie no display of any events, when selecting 'near car' or 'near destination' I just get 'absent' ;confused:

Anybody with any ideas ?

We were given an 05 coupe by a dealer for just under a week and I must admit I found the satnav system a real pain and gave up with it after a few days.

Do you have the disc in or have you ejected it and loaded the data into the sat nav? the disc has to in to access all the features.

The satnav and the 19" wheels were the items that put me off that particular car, however I loved the performance, looks and that interior.

The disc does need to be in the main unit for the Sat-nav to work.

In all honesty it is a rather clunky unit, and certainly not intuitive in any way, however I can get the POI element to work on mine so I assume its a case of one of the myriad of sub-menus being set wrongly!

on the gransport - trust me (-; save your money and get the pioneer sat nav or the alpine !
not easier to understand (but that may be just me !) but a lot more effective once understood !

thanks Guy's the CD is in, I've tried all the settings I can find to no avail, I have to agree that the system is the worst I've ever seen, I thought the Kenwood one in the 550 was bad but...........!
