Who to refurbish Magnesium Wheels .. recommendations

The Wheel Specialist did a great job on the 430 after curbing one wheel which they matched perfectly to the other three,

They also did a complete colour change on my Gallardo wheels and brake calipers too factory standard finish

They are a franchise company so not sure if you will have one in your area

It was the Bournemouth branch that did my wheels and can't speak highly enough with their service ,

Magnesium may be another matter though, to do them properly.

I don’t know if they do magnesium wheels but my first port of call would be Lepsons....a lot of main dealers and other alloy wheel repair services sub contract to them. They’re absolutely excellent. If they don’t I reckon they’d probably tell you who to go to

We have used classic coatings in Grantham to refurb some Dino wheels.

Magnesium wheels need a very particular process and are very difficult to do.

yes .. its quite specialist from the sounds of it.

Magnesium wheels cannot be sent to the usual suspects. Macari sorted mine out, sent them to a specialist but sorry don't know which one.

We use Roger at the wheel restorer in Wrexham for all our magnesium wheels, he's very good and able to chromate. T.
