Am toying with the idea of a Gallardo Spider, and am completely open to colour choices...

Any chance we can get a thread running with picutres of various Gallardos colours, ideally interior snaps also.

I'm looking to stay away from the oranges, yellows, silver & blacks. (as nice as they are...)

Thanks for any posts.

blue with magnolia hide is always a classic combo. Or blue with black hide for a more conservative look (though it is a Lambo)

If you are keeping the car in Blighty then I would have to consider the colour of the roof as well as the exterior and interior. By this I mean that the roof colour(99% chance black) will need to suit the car as it will be up more often than you'd like. If it's going to stay somewhere less rainy and you can park it inside then the roof colour shouldn't really matter.

Saying this I would choose black/black or a dark, mean blue/cream/magnolia combo. These colours work well with the factory wheels. Most importantly though, the only other thing to make sure you don't tick is the e-gear option

Actually, just had a quick look for some colours and ran across this Gallardo which, for me, makes the rear look much better. The rear is the only part of the car which I don't think I will ever feel comfortable about. This would definately have to be in black Or a motorsport white perhaps.

Is this to replace the Merci or the 360? Personally i think you have the best color combo in the Merci already.

Not sure yet...

I was thinking about possibly the F430 press picture colour scheme: gunmetal grey/titanium with tan... Similar to the Batman Murci Roadster also. I'm not too sure how to cross post pictures, but there's a picture of the Batman Murci on the Lambo forum of FChat on the Batman thread...

It's currently my favourite combo.

I've had a blue TVR car before and my current Murci is a light blue, and so am after a bit of a darker colour. As much as I love the Azzuro of the Murci, I'm after a bit more of a "sophisticated" colour. I'm also not too sure if the Gallardo is suited to lighter colours.

Well, maybe not completely open

Orange, Yellow and Black are the favourite colours for the Gallardo because they look the best in those colours!

OK, it looks good in just about any shade, but green, blue and red are all good too. (I think that covers the whole range )

Are there no other pics out yet on the Gallardo Spider?

Sorry, but those "improvements" don't do it for me.

Oh I like that. I saw a Gallardo nipping through traffic a few months ago and I have to say it looked tiny and insignificant, I almost missed it. I'm sure its a great car but its road presence is close to nil.

Plus, I have a thing for spoilers (except on the Enzo with its beautiful sweeping back end) that make cars like like Mini GT's. I would get a Gallardo if it looked like that.

There's plenty you can say about the Gallardo, but that's a new one!

I guess you are making comparison with your own cars.

The Gallardo isn't supposed to have the same visual impact as the Murci for obvious reasons. This is the reason it isn't as big of an event on the road as it's big brother presence wise. So, compared to the Murci it has very little presence but that can be said of ust about every car under £200k (not including TVRs).

Now Tuan is going to be jammy enough to have both but I would say go for the 430 spider on looks alone. From what I have read so far the performance and balance seem spot on

Or, if you are a true PHer.....both
