Can anyone tell me if a 3200 clutch is cable or hydraulic, my clutch pedal seems to bite about 2cm off of the floor and returns halfway before seeming to stop it then springs back the remainder of the travel, also it maybe me but it seems to be getting more difficult than ever to put into gear when cold.

Hydraulic with servo assist. The servo (called a servo pump in the parts manual) is a mini gas strut attached to the clutch pedal.

If you have probs disengaging clutch, the clutch itself may be nearing the end of its life; the master and/or slave cyls could need replacement; the hydraulic system may need bleeding; the slave cyl actuating rod may need adjustment; something may have come adrift.

Suggest checking the above in reverse order AND posting some feedback here - It helps others in the future with similar probs.

Thanks for the info. the car has only done 15k so hopefully its not the cluth itself. The problem seems to have righted itself for now (just like most of the other problems)but it all adds to the charm of the car I suppose.
