Hello, does anyone have any experience with Paint Protection Spray or Peel-able paints. Just looking for an unbiase view from someone that has had it done or seen the finished product.

Sorry if this thread has been done before.

Also interested to hear what people with experience of PPS have to say. I emailed Litchfield about it recently and they couldn't offer me any local references (Cambs/Essex) so it makes me wonder how many have actually done this. It sounds great and isn't a crazy amount more expensive than a premium PPF installation based on the information I gleaned.

Had the chance to take a look at in the flesh at Goodwood. The car in question was the demo car for the company promoting PPS.

It was terrible. Orange peel, differences clearly in the thickness, impurities in the PPS, drips runs to name a few.

I have only seen one, but really not impressed. I will take the time to look at other but given its more than PPF, PPF done properly is way better.

Stick with PPF. There's a clip on YT of a Porsche that had spray on PPF and the owner had a hell of a time removing it and damaged the paint.

Wouldn’t spray on paint protection otherwise be known as clearcoat?! Imagine when paint was sprayed on cars and some wise guy came up with the idea of spraying clearcoat over it to protect it. Now you want to spray clearcoat over the clearcoat yo!

That might not be the fault of the PPS, just the person doing the job. Some of these American car shows on Netflix, do terrible paint jobs and make out they are the best thing since sliced bread.

Wouldnt touch this PPS stuff with a bargepole. Very soft and easily prone to peeling. PPF way better.
