Purchasing a car from Jason Barker

Just wanted to check the picture on LinkedIn is of Mr Jason Barker please.

A friend is looking to buy a car from him (picture on linked in matches the person he met) and just wanted to make sure it's not someone pretending to be him before he transfers over the money to his bank account

There's no picture of him on Jason Barker's LinkedIn.

But I can confirm that I have been in contact with him from time to time - I first met him when he was Sales Manager at Lamborghini GB in Reading (part of Porsche Cars GB at that time) and then at HR Owen in Melton Court, London.

Why don't you ask your friend to ask Jason for his online banking details and make a £10 transfer? If Jason confirms it has been credited then your friend can rest assured it is the correct Jason Barker.

Jason Barker used to work with Phil Crouch at CPC in Amersham and also some years ago had dealings with Birds. I have met Jason many times but never to buy a car from. He was the salesman for Lamborghini UK from Portmans way back in the day.

Not a car, but bought a set of Manthey 996 mags from him years back, no issues at all and very easy and fair to deal with.

My friend ended up sending the full payment (even though I wasn't able to confirm anything for him).

So pray for him that it is the real Jason Barker and he'll end up with a car ??, as bit risky to not waited for confirmation of a guy whom sells out of a mates garage, no wonder so many people get tricked.
