Which companies do you recommend for insuring a Ferrari 488gtb

I’ve got 9+ plus of NCB of driving sports cars and no claims or convictions

Not just looking for the cheapest options

Thanks

Lockton - they have a special policy geared towards Ferrari owners club members.

Note you won't need NCB on their policy, also if your not an FOC member you can get it chucked in for the 1st year when you insure with them.

Another vote here for Lockton

I was previously with AIB but Lockton put together a great package that covers all of my cars (not just the California) with a very comparable level of cover (agreed values/any driver/business use/driving other cars fully comp etc) plus they also provide cover for FOC trackdays and the like. Reduced my premium by around 30% from what I was quoted on renewal by AIB

I insured with FFS, about 3.6k euros at the time - the big disadvantage was that windshield was not separate and fell under the deductible at 5k, which was painful

I had been with Lockton for a number of years with my 911. They wanted stupid money for the 430.

The next year at renewal they also wanted stupid money for the 911, so I left.

Went with Classic Line.

With the NFU myself . Seem very good with decent reputation. Have insured with specialist Lamborghini and Ferrari insurers in the past and it’s always worked out quite expensive. I think it’s worth looking who under write these companies.
