Aston tribute to Gugiario?

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the new generation Astons owe more than a passing nod in terms of design to the Maserati Coupe?

I've thought this for a while but with the release of the AMV8 which is more similar in size to the Mazzer Coupe I think the resemblance is quite striking.

Or maybe I should stay of the booze on a week night.

At least it's a change from everyone saying the new Aston's looks like Jags and vice-versa.

May well get shouted down for this, but cant help thinking that the new V8 has a startling similarity to the 350 ZX.

I agree, the bonnet vents help. The masser has always been a bit of an italian aston. Mine has been mistaken a few times for one. Untill they see the boooooomerang lights .

In fact it was chosen over a DB7 because of price and the fact you can actually fit people in the back.

Hmmm, sort of know where you're coming from with the 350Z comment.

I love the 350Z (almost as much as the 300ZX ) but it aint an Aston! Nor a Maserati (to get back on topic!)
