Dumb questions probably - when the car arrives itll be the first rag top I've had :bounce:

Whats the deal with washing/looking after the top? Normal car shampoo - do I avoid the stuff wash n wax stuff (not that i use it but for reference), does it need treating, best way to clean bird s**t off etc etc.

I just use the same shampoo as for the rest of the car(s) currently Meguiars Gold

jolly good - just ordered some along with a ton of other car cleaning gear and maser stuff off e-bay (sucks waiting for a car)

Get yourself a Renovo kit. It's transformed my tired grey roof into a lovely dark black one again!
