Supercar Friendly Hotel in Brighton?

Guys

Planning a trip for my sons 18th which would involve a night in Brighton (when theres a football game on if that makes a difference?) - Just looking at recommendations for car friendly hotels in Brighton which don't attract too much attention and are easily commutable to the centre.

Any recommendations?

For a hotel I always stay in the Hilton Metropole which has an underground car park. No bother for my F430.

More recently, I've taken to booking (AirBNB) a house with a driveway a little out of town and getting a cab/to from our night out.

You'll struggle a bit in Brighton. Private cars are decidedly unpopular (hence the excellent bus services), so watch out for all the various restrictions and bus lanes etc.

Hotel Metropole is one of few suitable hotels for you.

Don't do it, not worth the worry, very anti-car there. I always take my banger. Seriously zero point.

I go to Brighton quite often at the weekend - never really noticed it being anti-car. Always use the McLaren, and park on the top floor of the station car park which is always virtually empty even on sunny bank holiday weekends (obviously no good if you're staying in a hotel though).

I've never thought of using the station car park, might try that next time, thanks. Every time I go to Brighton its heaving (always an event on) So I either park in the Marina (not a bad CP to be fair) and walk for 20 minutes or in Hove and walk in 30 minutes, both are a nice walk. Either car park avoids at least an hour of queuing traffic. I still wouldn't take a supercar there as I don't see the point, but each to their own.

Don't use the marina car park went one summer nowhere to park.Had to park on top level one way down about 4 levels to go down.Every level I thought a bit more of my splitter had gone thankfully it stayed on lol.

I tried the station today, great shout! I didn't take the 675LT but tried with the 718 Spyder. When I came back there was a nice miami blue GT3 next to me. £7.50 for 6 hours. For years I've been parking at the marina and walking

Possibly the worst marina development ever designed. Fugly.

I thought The Grand was under going a refurbishment of all it's rooms? I remember reading that all the furniture was for sale via auction.

Agree 100% about parking at the train station. I recommend it in every thread about Brighton parking.

The last few times I've been on a nice day in Summer, traffic has been heavy from the A27 junction on London Road so I've always bailed at that point and headed to the Hove seafront, as suggested by an earlier poster, via the A27 and The Drive. From that junction, is the A27 and Dyke Road typically a decent route to the station car park on a busy day?

The Grand is open DEFINITELY guaranteed safe parking.

The Churchill Square Car Park is very big with some good sized spaces on the ground floor (on the left) and right in the centre.

I drive into Brighton about once a month and often on Saturdays. The key is to arrive early or late, on sunny days the sea-front has big queues late morning-early afternoon, but it's much easier at 8-9am or 4-5pm. Get there for an early breakfast or dinner (depending on your plans) in The Lanes or the Sea-front and your travel will be much better.

The Grand has parking and you could ask them if they might reserve it for a special car.
