Full page advert in today's Telegraph (Sports section) celebrating Maserati's 1-2-3 in its first official year of racing in the FIA GT championship.

Good to see. I wonder whether this is just a celebration of the triumph, or the first step in a program of advertising aimed at creating a more widespread appeal for the marque ...

Slightly off-topic, but interesting to see Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne shuffling the pack once again: Antonio Baravalle (Lancia) replaces Karl-Heinz Kalbfell as boss of Alfa Romeo, with Kalbfell taking sole responsibility for Maserati.

Hopefully this will keep the two brands a little more separate now ...
