I have decided to sell my Challenge Stradale and I am not sure what it is worth and how best to sell it. I am not trading it in for anything, just selling it outright. It doesn't have any finance.

It is a July 2004 car, Scuderia Rosso with the standard red alcantara trim. No stereo, no stripe. Only extras were the fire extinguisher, battery charger kit and harnesses. It has glass windows and also Navtrak.

It is TOTALLY unmarked. It has just been subject to a stone-chip paint job by the Ferrari dealership and is as the first day I bought it. Car has brand new pads, a good set of tyres and a new spare set of tyres also. She has done 9300 miles.

What should I be looking for and where should I try to sell it?

Thanks guys :)

Top Marques, Pistonheads Classifieds, Ferrarichat.com

If that doesnt work I will give you £10k for it.

Yup, as suggested, try ferrarichat.com, pistonheads classifieds, and top marques.

Also ask for info on how to sell your car. By that I mean that you should never invite people to your house to see it, you should always take someone with you when you meet prospective purchasers (and if you beleive them genuine, then take them to your home) etc. etc.

Ask on Ferrarichat as they will have experience of selling such cars.

Oh, and accept that you will receive calls from "Cardata" EVERY day.

Good luck

Maybe it's worth trying to sell it to a Main Dealer or an Independent, especially as it's a Stradale.

Maybe worth speaking to Manu or Ajay at www.scuderiasystems.com and mentioning you are trying to sell the car. I'm not a Ferrari buyer, but if I were going to buy one, they'd be the first people I'd speak to, to see what was about.

Good luck with the sale.

Also post on FChat.

And before handing over to a dealer, make sure everyone on there is aware you're trying to sell...you may be able to do a deal knowing what you might get from a Dealer...

BTW, if a dealer is selling one for 107k, it probably means he gave 90-97k for it, depending how generous he was being.
