Well it has lasted 30 years, 22 years with me and it finally let me down by cutting the power of to the fuel pump and not letting the car start. So it's time to get it out.
This post is the beginning of my quest to find any information on how to remove it. I need to know what wire does what and how to wire back up the standard factory wiring.
I believe the system was retro fitted to UK 90s ferraris and porsches, and was made by Hamilton & Palmer. This unit has the little spade that has to inserted into the slot. I know were the control box is, I just need to know about the wiring.
There must be 355 owners that have removed this system and know details.
Thanks for any help to any one who might respond. smile

If this isn't detailed enough, Fchat may be a good source of advice. Note: I don't own a F355 and have no knowledge of these cars.

Thankyou.
That's a no to ferrari chat. Left there over a decade ago. Besides America did not have this particular type of imobilizer fitted to the 355s. The UK did.
