As someone who lives in Cornwall, I don't often see Ferrari's. Not today though, as I visited Ocean Avenue in Carmel for The Ferrari Owners Club Concours.

Looks good. I must admit I was scrolling down the page and misread the thread title as Ferrari Concorso Camel. As I "saw" that I thought wow, Ferrari are certainly going after the Middle East market.....

Ferrari has a stunning back-catalogue, but the the recent stuff just look a over styled mess in comparison (Roma excepted).

288 GTO showing that it’s .peak Ferrari for me .

Some of the more recent stuff is pretty horrendous, especially the cream with a brown roof effort.

Out of all of those, the car that excited me the most was the Alfa Romeo 164...

Some lovely cars there.

Is Clint Eastwood still the mayor?

Yes, there was a fairly heavy drizzle most of the morning.

Clint Eastwood is no longer the mayor, though I think he still lives there. It's certainly a beautiful part of the world.

The SF90xx looks like a spaceship compared to some of the older cars. It's for sale at $2,700,000. The 360cs is also for sale at $969,000!! How much would that have been 12 months ago?

I loved the 250 GT Lusso such a beautiful car.

The back catalogue is where it’s at…I’d agree abut the 288 GTO, just stunning cars. The cars they’ve been making for the last five years are just dreadful to look at in IMHO. I am clearly not the target market though as the numbers say it is working very well for them !!!

There are back catalogues and then there are Pininfarina and Scaglietti.
The only argument is whether Fioravanti surpassed the Masters or not…
