Guys and Gals – I have joined the gang – picked up my 4200CC at the weekend :D an 0252 model – mediterraneo blue with beige – a beauty – great colour combination, condition, sound etc.

Having umm’d and ah’d for what seems like ages (well, at least that’s what my wife kept telling me) over a 3200/4200, other potential drives etc….. I just had to have a 4200 – yes, I know the rear lights are not the boomerangs (which I just love), but IMHO this was seriously outweighed by the engine sound & performance, the build quality etc the list just goes on…..

Have read so much on this forum about every drive in a Maser being an event – after 4 days of utter pleasure I can truly confirm this to be 100 percent fact….

Anybody who is in debating mode, just buy one – you will never believe the reaction you will get from Joe P.

Over Saturday/Sunday, used a whole tank doing 250 miles (guess that’s circa 10mpg – but heh, who’s counting) – boy was it fun – had so many people to take out for a ‘spin’ – the reaction from them confirmed over and again my decision….. btw, on a drive to Bristol today (roundtrip of about 350 miles, managed over 20mpg).

As I said before – can we arrange a ‘meet’ soon – any excuse to get out, and would like to see you all soon……

Congrats JonnyBoy how are you finding the CC? took a while for me to get used to it but now I am I would have it again

I find the SatNavs very slow, sort of Mediteranien style if you need advice round wiring in an Amlifier to the sound system (and I-pod) drop me a mail

They work surprisingly well on track to, after 1yr of ownership / touring (20k miles) I decided to do a track day Monday (curiosity more tahn anything) and it was fantasticly controllabe in sideways motion, not the fastest but very smile inducing.

Hope yours proves to be as reliable and as much fun as mine has.

Nik

ps - nice colour chioce

Welcome to the fold!!

I have recently installed the Dension ice linf for my IPOD so if that's the route you go for I can tell you all the pitfalls!

It now works perfectly by the way, but If I'd known then what I know now it would have taken 40 minutes to fit rather than the 5 hours!!!!

The Dension looks a neat package - does it really only take 40 mins???

Day 5 - didn't drive the car much today (pity) - getting withdrawal symptons - the worst thing is, am away for the next four days..... aaaargh..
