I'm thinking of going for a set of semi-slick road/track tyres for my next set of rubber.

I know Pirelli and Michelin manufacture this type of tyres, the Pzero Corsa and Pilot sport Cup(or a similar name).

I know the Corsa is not made in the 360's sizes, but I have no info on the Michelin Cup, does anybodyknow a link where I can find any info on this rubber and possibly the sizes?

Does anyone have experience with semi-slicks?

I had what amounted to grooved slicks on the Caterham- they were Yokohamas IIRC. Despite my misgivings, they were surprisingly good in the wet- hardly distinguishable from conventional road tyres. In the dry they were very good indeed.

Can't suggest anything other than manufacturer websites and/or talk to your tyre local garage. A post on FerrariChat may smoke out someone like Ernesto to help.

I dunno about on the old dancing donkeys, but for Porkers lots of the trackday thrashers swear by Michlins, I think its the pilot cup sport. They are road leagal and not too awful in the rain, but best not used for too many road miles, because the 4mm of tread as new doesnt last too long. Driven 993RS's on 'em and loved the feel, much more grip when hot. But I just hate pirelli so anything other than them gets my vote

Try
www.tirerack.com/tires/index.jsp who rate all road and competition tyres

or

www.bobwoodmantires.com/goodyear.htm who list all competition tyres for rarris

These may be in the us but you can either get them shipped or buy locally. As they are competition tyres i don't thenk they need an E mark.

I use EAGLE F1 GS FIORANO which are exellent, come with 5mm tread depth and can handle full throtle (525bhp)acceleration in second gear when warm!

Luigi,

I like your thinking top man !!!

Try Hoosiers :

www.hoosiertire.com/

most of the serious Fcar guys here in Oz use these tyres as they are as close to slicks as you can get and still be street legal, although I've heard they are slightly tricky in the wet
