Hi

Time for warranty renewal.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you Maserati owners out there could let me know:
a) which warranty you have
b) how much it cost
c) what experiences you have had with claiming (if any)

Sorry, I know this question has been asked before, but policies etc change so the information can become dated quite quickly.

Paid £700 for mine for a year via SGT in Taplow(Berks)where i bought the car.The Warranty company is WMS based in Herts.
Made a claim recently for a new shock as old one seized causing the error light to come on.£380 for a new one plus labour was agreed by the warranty company without fuss and cheque received immediately.I was impressed bearing in mind some on here have so much grief with other warranties.
They may not be so cooperative on a larger claim and time will tell but i've allready got most of the cost of warranty back in one hit.

Maranello's are using Warrany Wise on older cars. They sold me a 996 TT Porsche with Warranty Wise for around £650. This had unlimited number of claims upto £5,0000 and full mechanical and electrical. They mentioned that they have older 360's on this policy. Sounded good but I paid for the full unlimeted Porsche warranty at £725.

The main reason I sold the 4200 was the cost the £1,800 to extend the warranty for the fourth year!

I had a WMS (Warranty Management Services) warranty thrown in with my purchase. The phone number on my documentation is 01494 484440.

Never claimed so can't comment further.

Would be interested to know how much they are quoting.
