The Italia

Hi all,
Would like your views on the Italia guys.
Its a body kit based on an.......MX5.
Designed by Jim Simpson in the States, not meant as a replica in any sense but a flavour of sixties italian supercars.
I market the car in the Uk, just thought Id ask fans of the real thing what they think. Cheers.

Looks very pretty from the front, but the indicators and side lights are a bit of an afterthought.

A touch ironic. The Japs make a car in the image of a Lotus and someone turns it into an imaginary Italian.

Yeh, the irony is not lost on me either! The MX5 was also responsible for a dip in kitcar industry turnover some years ago and now its being used for parts by a few manufacturers.
