Just back from a trip to Italy, was in Rome for the Italy vs England game and then headed off to Milan for the Inter vs Juve game.

Only saw one Ferrari in Rome, a young chap in a Blue 612. However, in Milan, it just so happened that Inter were staying in our Hotel the night before the game. Managed to have a chat with Toldo that night, then the next, morning, had an OJ with Figo and Materazzi, as you do. Got talking about cars with them and they got the Hotel Manager to take me to the underground car Park where all the players cars were. 3 612's, 4 575'S, 1 550, 1 456, 3 DB9'S, 1 DB9 Volante, 5 Porsche 997S Convertables 1 Porsche Turbo Convertable, quite a few AMG Mercs and an Enzo. I believe that Enzo belonged to Massimo Moratti, owner of Inter. He also had leant the hotel a very old Lancia which is in the lobby. I wasn't allowed to take pics of the cars, but got some of the San Siro, but no idea how to get them up. If you ever get the chance to see Inter or AC play Juve or each other, do it - i have never experienced an amtosphere like it, ever. Simply incredable, even if you dont like football, like my gf, you cant help but me amazed by everything.

Also the Ferrari Shop in Duomo in Milan is pretty special, you can buy eveything Ferrari there, they have an old F1 car in the window and then downstairs another model of an F1 car which you can get in, has a fully working steering wheel and a plasma in front of you, some racing computer game. Looked very good, but not for 30 Euro's per life !!!

It was quality. Milan isn't the most inspiring of places, but the San Siro is incredable. Went with 3 mates, all with the other halves and we all seriously enjoyed both the rugby and footie, which shocked us guys. They loved the shopping in Milan which is basically all aimed at Females, hurt the plastic !!!

Trying to get some Barca vs Real tickets now

Hi there,

Shame you missed the Lamborghini driving event
It was a really good do, the new car is really fast (I wrote something about it on fcars if you're interested)
We couldn't drive it, but they had a yellow spyder there, first time I've seen the car since Parson Green, and it looks better than ever
We will have to meet up once we both get the cars

yep, i'll be going back for the AC vs Inter game next year. Did you find it bloody difficult to find your seats when inside, we were walking around for about 20 mins till a nice Italian girl took pity on us.

British Health and Saftey would have a field day if they saw the San Siro during a match, crazy.

Took the Mrs to Milan last year. Stayed in the Excelsior Gallia, fantstic hotel (Madonna, pope JP etc stayed there). The hotel is right oppossite the statue where a fella in a light aircraft crashed into it trying to do his own 911, just following the disaster.

I was captivated by the beauty of the Duomo and spent plenty euoros on the mrs in Gucci down the street where all the labels are.

Food in milan was superb.Love to go back.

Sorry I thought I sent you an email telling you about the event
I don't think they were messing me around, I really got the impression that they are none to sure when the cars will turn up {think it's ~ May for the pre-specs, June for the first custom specs).
I'm going to give them another call when I get some spare time
