Gear selection blues on my 3200

Just had a new clutch fitted and now 1st and 2nd won't engage when engine cold without huge effort.Things improve when she warms up but still not as good as before the new clutch.Been back to the dealer and they adjusted the gear linkage(i think).Seemed better afterwards but still a problem on start up.I thought maybe air in the hydraulics might cause this but someone suggested gearbox rather than clutch.Any ideas gratefully received.

was some transmission oil perhaps lost, or maybe changed, at time of clutch replacement?
I hear the Getrag box responds differently to different lubes (Dexron III type being preferred), though this is purely second hand info.
