May or may not be of interest but I just extended the warranty on my 3200 for another year (2002 model) through a Maserati dealer using AON, it cost £1500 and has a single claim limit of £4000 (doesn't stipulate a max number of claims per year) and seems to cover pretty much everything apart from "remaking electrical connections". It was bit of a hard decision to renew as in the past year I have done 20k miles and not used the warranty once but it's probably better to be safe than sorry
3rd party, bought the car from Mridien at 10k miles and exactly 3 years old but the warranty they provided was through AON, they said that the MAS warranty was not available but I suspect it was because they got a better commision from AON. Renewed it through Lancaster Colchester this time. Interesting thing is that the policy says that any VAT registered garage can service / repair the car so it does not restrict me to a main dealer

They changed becuase of the awful Trident Warranty which caused a lot of trouble plus the other warranty companies out there were cheaper and much better.
