Oooops - on re-reading I forgot to add that the Rosso Corsa is generally perceived to be 'Ferrari Red' - (or re-sale red) - and I would think this is the shade you are thinking about.

IIRC my 328 was Glasurit Rosso Corsa 300/9, my 355 was 300/12
