dealer service, thumbs up for colchester (again)

Car has been in for a cam belt service this week, whilst there had the steering recall done FOCWas quoted £600 ish for the the belts plus another £5-£600 for the service, so £1200 + vat. Whilst there I had another couple of little cosmetics done, and a MOT.
So was expecting a invoice for £16-£1700 inc VAT.
The car was collected and delivered (140 mile round trip)FOC, MOTed at the base rate of £35 without the usual £9 MOT station profit, had a custom wood stereo/switch gear surround fitted FOC, slight split in a breather pipe sorted (I didn't even know it had split) FOC, and a of course a full shampoo and set.
Imagine my surprise when the presented with the invoice totalling £790.00 inc VAT.
I was informed that Lancasters deduct 25% from invoices for work on cars that are over 5 years old ! My car is now 5 years and 3 weeks!! I knew there was a reason I didn't get the service done last month
So another good reason not to PX for a 4200 or a 550!
Another good experience with Lancaster Maserati
edited to add, they also put half a tank of fuel in and didn't charge for that either!!!!!!
