the smart has a gixer 1000 bike engine, it's a well known conversion i'm told. the noise on the footage is the bike engine screaming not the fezza as i first thought. the conversion is around 9k! i actually have a smart i use for nipping into town, when my engine pops i'm off to the bike breakers for a replacement definately!!

Awesome video... though I find it a bit suspect that the 0-400meter time for the rarri is so slow?

Bike engined smarts can be bloody quick though, theres a video of one launching in the wet and pulling the slightest of wheelies... must be scary as !!!!!
