Does a 1997 Quattroporte have the same engine as the 3200?

The eBay ad says chain driven cams.

3200 has belt driven cams.

The 3200GT has a slightly improved version of the Quattroporte IV's 3.2 V8.

I'd be surprised if it is chain driven rather than belt driven but I don't know for sure.

It's indeed a modified version (370HP) of the QPIV engine (335HP) which first appeared in the Maserati Shamal with 325HP

Definitely belt driven and hence the 3yr service is damn expensive.

Not too bad, just paid 592.00 for a full belt service on mine at main dealers.
