Hi guys,
I have been planning to attend this event for a couple of weeks, but unfortunately I am not going to make it.
I start a new job on Monday and have to catch an early train to get to head office for 9.00am for my first day. The train journey is approx 2 1/2 hrs and will be very boring, but at least I will have a new company car to come home in.
Highclere is approx 140 miles and 2 1/2 hrs driving from my house and although I would love to make it, it is just to far there and back in one day with an early start the next morning.
I wish you guys all the best and hope the event goes at least as well as expected if not better. Hope you raise loads of money for charity.
Look forward to seeing the photos and kicking myself for not going.
See you all soon.
Regards
Tim

Location, turnout and weather were all great. Here are a few photos I took:

Arrived there at 9:30 am. Watched the Enzo being driven to its place and lots of Ferraris driving up to the castle.
288,Enzo,F50 and F40 all in a row. Loads of really nice Ferraris on show.
Funniest site was seeing Lady Carnarvon shouting at the FOC for going to fast and threatening to stop the 'ride in a Ferrari'
She looked quite good when she was angry
Got a ride in a very nice Dino and a 308 ! Unfortunately it was after Lady Carnarvon had gone mental so it wasn't as fast as it could have been

I think Lady C and Lord C had every right to be angry as the same person driving a blue 400 was driving like a lunatic at the start of the course.
In Lady C's case she was walking up the road with a young child in her arms when he went past at a stupid speed.
The circuit was a good one, all you had to do was to remember to take it easy until you past the estate houses.
Unfortunatly it only takes one fool to spoil a good day and for everyone to get tarred with the same brush.
