the chap that owns the Maca and the Enzo is a good mate. Whilst at the Le Mans classic when we got back to the hotel that we were all staying at I took another of the guys Murci for a spin with his son in the car. When we got back my niece asked me to take her for a spin in one of the other chaps cars a late Testarossa. (the type with the F40 front end) Then my better half says take us for a spin in the Enzo.
I asked and he gave me the key. It took a little while to suss out how to get the bloody thing in reverse but as my missus has a brabus smart car i'm used to the gear indicator and paddle shift gearchange
Well my missus has been in some fast cars, the type that puts your stomach into your chest, but the Enzo puts your stomach into your throat in a split second and the brakes are just awesome. It scared the bloddy life out of her and brought her monthly event on 12 days early. I kid you not the mates girlfriend says it has the same effect on her.
The plus side is that once I got back he said "well is that the quickest thing you've ever driven" YES "well wate till you drive the Mclaren"
The down side is that I now know what a supercar really is and I want one which means I have to wrestle with my conscience and sell all of my toys to be anywhere near able to afford one. Not an Enzo but as a mate who lives in the S O france calls it a Paganini. Jesus how many times do I have to tell him its a Pagani

No offence to anyone who lives in Barnsley but having visited many times(mostly to the scrapyards where they dismantle all the buses)it doesnt seem like a majorly affluent area to me.Having said that if I lived there I would be blasting over woodhead very early every sunday morning in those cars if I owned them .....

yep put a very big smile on my face. Its nice to be in the company of other professional celebrities. I noted that the other alledged professional's did not wish to take advantage of your very kind gesture. Something to do with poor footwear or was it a weak bowl problem I can't remember ?

Thats cause you don't know the roads

Woodhead is just dull.

You wouldn't find a smoother stretch of road anywhere in the country + loads of fast excellent roads round here.

Can't believe i've never seen the cars out on the road, cycle a fair bit round there 2.

Two of our alledged professionals if you remember were offered a certain car key, one declined full stop and the other declined on the basis of wearing open toe'd sandals although I did offer to lend him my trainers. Does that jog your memory ?

Another reason for going into Barnsley apart from getting my hair cut.

Watch out for our friends on the road from the Travellers Pub to Thurgoland @ the lay-by on the left, started to appear more often.

& i thought they we're just trying to get me!

Well played.

yes, those "friends" acting on info from a "distressed" member of the green party (i presume) actually contacted a friend of mine last summer, who had been out exercising his f50, to complain of his alleged fitness run...obv. being a law abiding citizen he denied all knowledge of said incident, but yes, be aware they most certainly lurk in dark corners these "green" types!!

yep, both are far too overweight & underqualified also for such delicate machinery IMHO !!!!!
