i,m very close to buying a 360cs a 04 with 2000 miles. ive driven two on test drives but has any one any experence living with one.
Yes have owned on for 6 months now. Epic car - have done 5,000 miles in it since ownership. Took it across europe in June on some very testing roads, car is sensational and is the best cars i have ever driven.
Values seemed to have firmed up and its my guess they have long term investment potential.
About 8 owners on here, for more advice:

i've had mine about 2 months, done about 500 miles...
things that it needed were:
front anti roll bar bolts replacing (you get a creaking noise from original ones) if its from a main dealer then this has prob been done already
and a trickle charger jobbie
apart from that it is the most enjoyable car i've ever driven
evo sum it up, + a real road racer - its loud very very loud
i love it!
what colour you going for?
just make sure you go over it for crash damage and see how much life is left in the clutch and rotors
Deano

Definately.
mine is an o4 and will be in dick lovetts showroom next week - i paid quite strong money as it is a v clean car and have been offered strong money back subject to them achieving screen price.
Buy the best you can afford, ideally still in mfrs warranty - as this keeps values up.

had mine 5 mths, done 3k miles
Car's epic , just epic. But do get SD2 check on brake rotors and clutch wear . Car is VERY low and i have probs getting onto drive. Rear vision 's poor also, parallel parking's a mission.

Whats the expected lifespan of the rotors? Is it true they need to be replaced after you've gone through 2 sets of brake pads? How much are replacements? (maybe 15-20k)?

my car has seen plenty of track use with previous owners; disc wear is currently 24 % . New discs ,pads ,labour Vat & fitting is £12.5 k
There hasn't been a UK CS yet that has had new discs .tony h said:

There hasn't been a UK CS yet that has had new discs .Is the SD2 simply some software on a laptop or is it some hardware that can't be emulated? Just thinking, it would be handy to check wear after a track day to compare wear rates vs normal driving miles.

it's a dealer diagnostic laptop, only available from Ferrari AFAIK.
What is the connector on it(to the car)? Does it have a hardware dongle or something similar?
there are various connectors in car .I'll see if i can find out more info.
After a bit of searching, found the manual for the SD3 online, lots of pics, info etc.
