Ferrari 400 anyone.....................?
Discussion
Hello to all Ferrari enthusiasts. I have a Ferrari 400i. A long way behind the 550s and others that many of you seem to have - but still a V12 Ferrari.
I'm known mainly on the TVR section being as I also own one of those, and haven't really ventured in here before. I do apologise.
Sadly, due to ongoing ill health I've been divesting myself of my small collection of vehicles and now have just the Ferrari and TVR to go.
I appreciate that amongst the most die hard Ferrari enthusiasts the 400 series may not be the most popular of the breed, but some of you will recognise that they are really rather underestimated. I myself used to 'sniff' at them but became converted.
Should there be any members of the 400 appreciation society out there, I should be pleased if they would get in touch with me - it would be good to see the car go to someone who really appreciates it.
I haven't put it on the ads as yet - I thought I would ask in here first.
I hope it is OK to post this pre-sale notice here.
Thank you.

I have always admired the 400 series and the even better 412, since they were launched.
They are currently an absolute bargain on the used market.
About 5 years ago, I sold a 400i to a local man with about 6 months MOT and in very good condition for about £7000 (from memory).
He is still running the car now, and gives it plenty of use. Apart from routine servicing, he has had no major expenditure.
The car still looks good on the road, and comes across as being a little bit special in amongst the Mondeos and Vectras.
You need to post details of your car here, plus pictures.

Well.........I can't seem to work out how to post photos.
Brief details though:-
1982 400i
55,000 miles
blue azzuro (probably the best colour for these cars)
magnolia hide
black dash
the correct wheels
owned by me for nearly 4 years
underwent restoration about 2 years or so before purchase
sticker still showing on door jamb refers to new paint job at that time
