If his (lack of..) warming up technique leaving the local pubs is anything to go by it'll go bang before the end of the year. Same bloke used to have a yellow gallardo hardtop.

According to this month's TG mag, him and James May went to look at one.

A typical 'U' turn by the Rotherham Advertiser's favourite son then. His "but it's not a Ferrari" comment from his original test of the coupe still has me falling out of my chair in fits of laughter.
Personally, I prefered it when JC was knocking Lambos. Lamborghini's have always been a bit "left field", hardly the obvious choice. Most people missed the fact that David Beckham is on his second Gallardo, which was nice.
Now Sant' Agata has the endorsement of a leading media "celebrity" I'm sure it'll all go to hell in a hand cart very quickly.
I blame Lamborghini themselves for producing such a fine car.
Should have been a pile of crap instead.
I'm sure Jeremy will get a "flappy stick" version, which will make Andy a happy bunny (not!).

On a mildly related note.
I met and spoke with James May, whilst enduring the joys of a cross channel ferry, recently.
He's just filming a travelogue with Oz Clarke (Wine Buff) through France, in a drop-head V12 XJS. Two men in a Jag. Very cool.
Anyhoo, he was a really nice guy.
I took the piss out of his shirt (though I've worn worse!) and asked if Hammond was doing his wardrobe. He sat down and chatted for a few minutes, eventually getting dragged off by the film crew.
Ofcourse, if I'd known he was bullying JC into buying a Gallardo Spyder, I'd have throttled him!

Mike

Is this your way of saying it's all your fault that he might be getting one? Shame on you

Probably. Bugger! I should send Andy round to "have a word".
