Hi there,

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner of a stunning McLaren F1 today whilst at the Donington Le Mans Series event today. The car is an ex Le Mans F1 GTR race car that has been converted to a road going LM replica. According to the owner the cars currently has approx 680bhp.
I took loads of photos of the car and managed to have a real good look around the car. The owner was kind enough to leave the door open and he also opened the engine compartment for a while.
I think this car is absolutely superb, it was parked in the paddock area of Donington and was quite tucked away. Luckily he had e-mailed me a few days ago and told me roughly where it would be parked.
The owner had travelled to the event in convoy with his friends Ferrari F50, that must have been a real sight travelling down the M1.

Regards

Tim

You are one lucky man, I'd love to see an LM in the flesh (even if it was converted to LM spec)...... awsome machine.

anyone know if the front splitter area of the F50 is standard or not? it looks more pronounced around the corners than i remember.

Stunning cars, enjoyed a good ten minutes or so having a look at them tucked away behind the paddock.

Except the F1 didn't make it home under its own steam
