The car has been really done over, "80% service history", Category D, LHD and he wants £35,000 for it! Also a bit suspicious why so much work has been done on it1
I think the first set of silver alloys look Godawful too.
Certainly one I wouldn't touch unless it were around 24-25000!
Whats the consensus? Touchy, no touchy?
...and I'd put the original valance on.

Presumably the seller is something to do with www.m-99.co.uk , purveyors of mobile phone stuff, miscellaneous car tat and teeth whitening devices. Surprised he's letting the registration go in the sale.

Thats interesting, its Cat C on this site...
If it's the same guy running m.99.org as was four years ago he's a prety nice guy .. used to run a cerbera worked on. had/has a penchant for bling but other than that seemed pretty sound bloke. not sure about the wheels though .. generally speaking sports car manufacturers tend to get those kinds of things right first time.

Hello Chaps,
It's my F355.
The price is what I feel to be reasonable, the modifications I have made are what I consider to have improved the car - Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion which is fair enough, but comments such as : "purveyors of miscellaneous car tat" & "Horrible car, horrible owner" take things a tad too far.
If you don't like it - fine, If you feel it's overpriced - fine, your opinions, not mine.
"trackcar" Ref the Cerbera - Yes, that was mine a few years back, I still have fond memories of that exhaust you built for it ! ... rattled windows and set of car alarms in a half mile radius ! - Hope you are OK & business is still as busy as it was back then.
Regards
Dave

Fair play to you mate. No disrespect to pentoman, but i did think that "...horrible owner" was unecessarily personal.
I wouldn't personally modify a car like that myself, but its all about personal taste. Far be it from me to judge you for it!
I do think its best stock though!!!

Sorry about the 'tat' remark. At three letters long it was handier than saying 'Car LED and Neon Lighting including: Bayonet LED Light Bulbs, LED Door Handle Kits, Beamers, Dashboard Bulbs, Door Pins, Sidelight T10 Bulbs, UFO LED Under Car Lighting Kits, Neon Speaker Rings, Valve Caps, Colour Change Washer Jet Lights, Headlight Illumination, Festoon LED Bulbs, El Wire, Neon Gear Knobs, Remote Controls, Strobes, Xenon Bulbs and much more'.
I do appreciate that not everyone regards the afforesaid appurtenances as tat.
Can I ask is the M-registration with the car or not? The Ebay ad says it is, the other says the car is to be sold with the W-reg.

what's next on your vehicle shopping list?[/quote]
Hi again, Glad you're busy still ... I hope it's not just you still at that unit stressing out getting everything done, you did look after me very well & if I ever get a TVR again I will be back. You did my light conversion too, top job on those ... damn, all those memories, I want a Cerbera again now !
For some reason i've gone and got myself addicted to Diablo's, either an SV or a Roadster, but the prices are still pretty scary ... so I need the best price I can get for mine (but we won't go into that again!). Just love the look of them (even standard!) - But then again ... I do wonder what one would look like with a lovely set of chrome wheels on ... hmmmmmm

No worries about 'Tat' ... christ, some of it is tat, but it sells as some people want tat :-)
Our site is aimed at late teens to mid 20's customers - It's made like that to attract that market. We have more professional sites that are aimed at 30's+, Other sites aimed at business customers and so on - I try to grab all markets.
Right, the M reg plate - I would like to keep it (as it means something to me). My current theory is that the next owner would not want the M plate anyway and would want to have the W reg plate back on. I was thinking of just offering the future new owner a bit of cash for the hassle of changing it back to the W Reg + the transfer fees etc. and giving the M Plate back to me once it's done.
I could just take it off now, but from the last transfer from my Cerbera to F355 it took the DVLA about a month of messing round to sort it out ... waiting for a new V5 etc etc.

Hi Dave. I'm sorry for the "horrible owner" comment, it really was not a personal thing about you (after all I've never met you
) but was more just that I couldn't personally understand the decision to apply those modifications to it! But even so you seem to have a good taste in cars - most people in your situation would be in a Cadillac Escalade or Hummer H2! Russell
Hi Russell, No worries about the comments ...
Escalade / Hummer - Who do you think I am '50 pence' ?!? ... I do also have a Land Rover Discovery 3 on shiny 22" wheels if that counts !
Cars for me are an obsession, my greatest love (after the wife & children of course!). With the Ferrari I tried to make it perfect (in my opinion) in every aspect - Almost like a work of art, something I can look at and feel a sense of satisfaction with what i've done. I may be mad spending so much on a car, but who cares, it brought me happiness in doing it.
Although i've got no bids on it as yet I have got 26 'watchers' and 1578 unique visitors in 44 hours, not bad going really, it's definitely created some interest - I'm keeping my fingers crossed ;-)

I think it looks quite good on the black wheels, are they the ones its being sold with ?
Yes, either the black ones or the original silver Ferrari ones are going with the car at the final winning price - It's up to the winner as to which set they want.
The black 19" ones have virtually 'as-new' tyres, and are in immaculate condition. The originals have road legal tyres (pretty worn) but the wheels themselves are again immaculate - I refurbished these 2 years ago myself.
I can sell the car with the chrome ones, but as the cost me a fortune, extra would need to be added for me to leave these on.

Is that a good idea? Once the car is sold the plate will belong to the new owner - they could just decide to keep it, or sell it themselves. To cover yourself I would transfer it now to save any future hassle.
