Advice on buying a Lamborghini Miura.

I purchased my first Lamborghini this year, a 99 Diablo SV.
The car couldn't be better for me and has surpassed all of my expectations except one.
Ever since a child, my dream car has always been the Miura. I am an enthusiast who loves to drive cars and appreciate their true meaning. I am not a collector and am not interested in leaving a car in the garage just to look at it. I will be keeping the Diablo and pursuing the purchase of a Miura.
I understand that Miura prices are on the increase but don't want to be rushed in to a hasty purchase.
I am based in Inverness and would be looking to the U.K. and Europe to source the right vehicle. I haven't ruled out the possibility of shipping a car from the States or further afield.
My preference is right hand drive and budget will be around £275,000 or approximately $500,000. I may be able to squeeze the budget a little higher if need be.
For everyone here who has had experience of Miura ownership and can offer advice on specific models and purchasing tips then I would be most grateful to hear from you.
The 'S' in right hand drive is where I am looking at. The 'SV' may be out of reach but I will keep an open mind.

Always nice to hear of someone about to make an old dream reality! My suggestion is that you call Simon Kidston over in Switzerland, what he doesnt know about Muira's is not worth knowing. His own pride and joy is a Muira and he just recently organised the 40th Anniversary european bash.
Background is , he left Bonhams after a long career running the European Collectors Cars Dept as President to set up on his own last year. He now has the company below which deals in "proper" kit and his connections are worldwide. Also offers some rather clever finance packages.

Always nice to hear of someone about to make an old dream reality! My suggestion is that you call Simon Kidston over in Switzerland, what he doesnt know about Muira's is not worth knowing. His own pride and joy is a Muira and he just recently organised the 40th Anniversary european bash.

A very big thank-you to everyone. There are some really good people here on this forum and I am most appreciative of the time and effort taken by everybody offering their advice and support.
It is important for me to be part of a community with like minded people who share the same passion for cars as I do.
I will be following up on the good recommendations and contact details.
Carlo McCrindle supplied my Diablo and is definitely on my contact list.
He will be my first port of call for maintenance and servicing requirements.
The RHD light blue Miura offered a few months a go by Oakfields originally belonged to a member of Black Sabbath I believe.
I need to learn as much as I can before making any informed decisions. Any buying advice or potential problems to look out for would be great advice for me.
I am quite aware that buying a car that might well be older than myself has to be approached in a very careful manner.
I will keep everyone posted with my progress and thanks again.
