6.0 Diablo prices
Discussion
Inspired by earlier thread on 6.0 Diablo, a couple of questions re: prices.
1. What price do these normally go for? Quite difficult to judge because so few around.
2. Where is this model on depreciation curve...steady or still falling rapidly.
Could be tempted, but not if it's going to drop like a stone.

Biased, but here's my view
1) Can depend on colour, where and if you can source - but 85 to 100k
2) Depreciation slim to none, it helps there are only 16 ones of which all are not 'straight'

I take it you mean that a few have been crashed? On the above info', I guess the black one at Elms looks a pretty good proposition.

If you want a black car, there is no finer

Did Anjums make it back onto the road?
If so, and its been repaired to a high standard... I'd be tempted to say that would be the finer black car. Obviously the repair would have to be close to perfect (and I have no idea how badly it was written off to start with.)

Not getting into thatdiscussion again !

For that sort of money £95k, would you not go for a Murci?

Not at all.... A murcie is a great car, but imo it feels too Audi-fied... Too easy to drive. Brakes v.suspect. Mass produced. Residuals bit up in the air
The Diablo6 feel like a Murcie SV, has better brakes, great interior, great visible carbon fibre detailing (side skirts, front bumper, engine cover, front hood). I don't think there is a better interior than a 6ltr, anywhere. Pedal offset doesn't feel natural in a RHD Murcie, and gave me bad legache after a while
all IMO obviously

I've only seen lhd for that price. Have I got that wrong?
Have to agree the Diablo looks more special and will now remain more exclusive.
Does black not suit the car well? Only seen one black one but quite some time ago.
ESMC had a RHD 03 plate in Giallo at £96k, and there is a RHD 02 plate in Top Marques for similar money.
As to which car will hold it's value over time my money would be on the Murci. But is it a better car? will it provide more thrills? try one and find out is the simple answer.
IMHO of course !

Ah, I must have missed something, will try and look it up.

Funny you should say that Jonny, but the Diablo seemed a bit better for the clutch resting foot too, and definitely felt more "straight on" in terms of driving position. Also agree re interior and other detailing, the exposed carbon fibre both inside and our is beautiful and works extremely well.

I see the gorgeous black Diablo VT is now sold via Pistonheads, is anybody going to volunteer, come on don't be shy !

That was me!
I picked it up on Monday and I'm still completely at a loss for words. I'm going to try and post a write-up after the weekend once it's sunk in!
surely Anjums Diablo never made it back ?
I think the issue of whether his was the best out there really depends on how you feel about RWD - if it's your thing, then it may have been the finest RHD Diablo ever, if it's not your thing, then it isn't.
Nothing wrong with either position since the only thing that counts is putting your money where your mouth is. Everyone wants different things, which is what makes it fun.
In any case, I haven't owned a Diablo (yet) so don't have a valid opinion one way or the other !

The Diablo I sold to Justin certainly ISN'T the ex Anjum car. That made its way back onto the market with a very murky story behind it.
There is a thread on the story of how that car reappeared with a dealer somewhere on Pheds.
