Reasonable price for service + belts on 3200?

Main dealer has quoted £1500 inc Vat for service plus belt change (the service is the 68.5K miles although not done that many).

Seems quite reasonable to me, anyone done any better?

I had my main service done by Lancasters at Colchester, Full service + belts 750.00ish quid.
How old is your 32? Lancasters give a 25% discount for cars over 5YO.(mine is).
This included Collection and delivery plus wash and brush up. They will collect anywhere in the UK.

750 quid for belts, service AND collection anywhere in the UK - is that right??
As a newish 3200 owner that is very interesting, I will have belts to do in the next 10K miles - looks like me and Glen are going to get on!

Hi, just spoke to this guy and he quoted me the following

Basic service £480.00

Belt and service £840.00

Clutch inc plate and housing but not the bearing £1,800.00

Said clutches should last anything between 12 and 40k depending on how its been driven. Also, the only other worry is that he has seen a few that needed head gasket work, can be expensive.

Still very good for the belt service though, he said it was a very straight forward job to do. God knows why other main dealers a quoting £1,500 for the same job even with the 25% age related reduction.

PS. Looking for a good 2001 manual 3200GT via a private purchase. Milage around the 28-42k mark, if its black with tan or grey leather....even better. Matt 07973 363652. Looking to pay early £20k's
