Welsh roads, night time, too much enthusiasm, tunnel vision... bugger!

Both left hand wheels mullered.

I'd have gotten away with it too, of it hadn't been for those pesky (cobbled) kerbs!

That'll teach you for going to the god forsaken place that is called Wales! evil biglaugh evil

Seriously though if you are getting the wheels done - why don't you get all four done in the Titanium effect like the factory rims - would look good on the yellow car.

I also recall someone on LamboPower was selling a full set of "take-off" Gallardo rims and tires (tyres) recently (lots of "ballers" putting "blinging" rims on their new "rides" in the States!)- look at the classifieds there - you might get a set of rims and brand new tires, for the price you'd pay just for a set of new Tyres here? Just a thought.

Here ya go Mike:

www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=20080

$1999 ( £1050 !!!) for a complete set of wheels AND tyres with only 800 miles on 'em!!

Cheaper than a set of tyres! You of course need to get them back here - if your interested I can put you in touch with a packing company in LA who I have used - they will pick them up for you - get them packed in boxes and ship them to England - just make out a really low invoice and you wont pay much duty/VAT.

Then you could have two sets of wheels - ready for your next jaunt to Wales!!

I just love it when yer mates rally together... to take the piss!

Jon. I do actually have a spare set of new wheels and tyres, for such an eventuality (hence the "crikey" in crikeymikey). Thankfully I didn't lose pressure in a tyre.

Lee. 43 not 40 (but thank you anyway.. cheque's in the post!laugh)

Guy. Correct. Free set of crystal glasses!

Doug. You win. This time.

Alan. You'd have been proud of my pace. Quite inappropriate for the conditions! laugh

Darren. Thank you. Obviously the only one who actually gave a rats ass! laugh

you know looking at the pitures, the wheels dont look that bad

I would have thought for 300 quid they would be back looking new

I thought that I had destroyed one of the wheels on my 360 when I kerbed it at 60 mph but the dealer got it back to looking almost new

Doug. It's looks a lot worse in the flesh, trust me! I had to warn people not to touch, as the swarf would've caused a nasty cut. I'm hoping they're repairable. Fingers crossed.

Darren. The spare set I have are "tinted" so compared to the stock silver ones they look dark, but compared to the proper titanium one's they are definitely lighter. I'll get a pic up.

....and to think how much grief you gave me at Marham about my wheels!!!! ...I'd say your's are on a par with mine now!!! Don't worry, it just shows you use the car in anger, as it should be!!! ....or in my case, it shows that I park in too much of a hurry!!!
