Fellas,

I'm thinking of following my heart, taking the plunge and going for one of the above.

Weekend car 2-3k PA, long term ownership, 50kish budget.

What, where, and why.

Although i always lusted over a 355, the 550 continues to grow on me, just doesn't seem quite as dated; or is that just me?

Cheers,

Deano

You said long term ownership.

I think (obviously my opinion) the F355 will have a lasting beauty whilst the more modern Ferraris will look perhaps awkward.

agreed and plenty to be had with a 50k budget.

just buy wisely through a known specialist and you'll be fine.

All very diffenent cars, you need to drive the 3 of them before forming an opinion . FWIW, i'd buy a fully serviced/sorted 355 GTB.

I reckon the 550 is fantastic and better value than the 355.
I bumped into one of the guys who owns AVRO (indie Ferrari specialist sellers)this am.
He has set up on his ownas of today ! He can source any ferrari you like and wont be charging a premium like the garages do. He is a great guy , call him if you like:
