OK, I posted this on the Porsche forum and am posting here now. Would be grateful for any views:

I fear that I am losing my marbles.

I have a great GT3, takes track punishment all day long and drives me (cross continent if need be) home.

But I have this itch, getting worse by the week, for a Ferrari F355. I love the looks and in particular the sound. It would feel special dare i say it in the way that maybe the GT3 doesn't (any more?).

But not sure if my F355 dream should be best just left at that, a dream and I should carry on driving a great car in the GT3. Not sure how much of this is taking for granted whats in the garage for somet. thats in the mind.

I've long considered myself a Porsche man but can't get this 355 thing out of my head.

FWIW the GT3 has been ultra reliable and requires only a £400-£500 service each year. Extended warranty is good value at £895 from Porsche.

Cheers

Ajit.

Ajit you have to make your own mind up. Drive the car and then decide. A very good mate was sure that his heart was set on a 360 until he drove a Diablo SV. He then bought a Diablo SV and followed that with a Murci. Forget what everyone else thinks drive and make an informed choice, cheers Graeme
