520Hp??? why have they de tuned it? it must be a misprint. The one at Le-mans this year ran by the Japanese Lambo owners club sounded the absolute nuts!! Roll on 2007

I thought it did really well at the race Andy. The car as you said sounded great, and in the evening the flame out of the rear looked great.
June 2007 cannot come quick enough. Off to watch testing the 1st,2nd,3rd June, then off to race on the 10th until the 22nd.

They run restricters on the inlet manifolds to keep the cars in their various classes competitive with on another. At least that the theory.
cheers Graeme

That Lambo looked so good at Le Mans and I was really impressed with the performance it put in. Did it make it past 20hrs?

I think that it broke down or crashed in the last hour which was a real shame as it was the most entertaining car out there

As dull as it sounds I thought the sound of Audi was truly mesmerizing.
Hubba hubba!
Dare I state the bleedin' obvious and remind the doubters that Porsche and Ferrari have spent a massive amount of time and money producing very polished race cars.
If I recall correctly, last years r-GT was entered by JLOC. So a completely private entry. A bunch of enthusiasts (albeit very wealthy ones) having a go. Those guys must have known it would be simpler to just set fire to a huge pile of cash, but they went racing anyway. They could have gone for a sure thing (Fezza, Porsche, etc) but went for the mad option. I'm sure, being realistic, they actually didn't expect to finish. If they had, they would probably still be celebrating to this day!
"Laughing in the face of common sense" gets a salute from me.
Honestly, ANYONE who races ANYTHING at Le Mans is a star.
