It annoys me when sellers put stuff like "THE ULTIMATE" in their ads - surely even they must know that the ultimate would be L4, not L6MBO.....

That crazy money. I was lucky I bought L999 LSV for the 99 Diablo SV for £380. Can't get much better than that for the money

Wouldn't the ultimate Lamborghini plate be M1URA?

OK, so you couldn't actually put it on one, but it would still be great to have it. According to the RAC website it's currently on a 1998 Peugeot 406 LX.... Clearly a case of the plate being worth more than the car!

Great number plate, but unless you're putting it on a replica how could you use it ? (1994 M onwards ?)

I know the whereabouts of "L13MBO" which I believe might be for sale. When the numbers 1 & 3 are squared off, they look very close to the letter A.

Not exactly legal but the guy has been driving around for three years with no trouble.

Oh, I dunno.... [Bias accepted] I reckon this takes some beating. After all, it applies to ALL proper Lamborghinis.

I think it is always better to leave the tacky plates to the ladies/hairdressers in the Mercedes slk's . They can compare "while lunching"

Nice to see the Espada again Phil.
Incidently, it is amazing how many people have had to ask the significance of the plate, since we put it on my website.
For all those non petrolheads, 12 POT equals 12 cylinders.
Great number. Great car.

I'm sure I don't know what you mean, Phil! laugh

My Gallardo has 12 cylinders. Just that 2 of them are for the brakes!

thought I'd just mention that there IS a chap who owns both a Miura and also the reg. no. M1 URA

No names, no drill obviously, but he was a member of LCUK at one time and I'm sure that he still has that plate on his hackabout which may still have the words, "My other car really is a Miura", like he had many years ago…

Phil: I still have the version of that pic of your Espada which was 'amended' for passing helicopter reference, just don't know how to post images on PH - yet!!
