Hi chaps / ladies,

I don't suppose anyone has a source for a Diablo GT bonnet do they ?, either a used original or a copied part. The cheapest one i've found so far is a copied item here : www.specpro.de/

The only 'kit car' type place that moulds a copy one in the UK refuses to sell to genuine Diablo owners.

Dave

Is it not possible to tell them it's for a different car, or does the manufacturing process differ depending on what car it's destined for?

Elms - Many thanks - Will give him a ring if no other leads turn up.

Lambochick - They just refuse to sell it to a genuine owner (ie. me), they obviously don't need an extra £1000 in their account. I doubt the kit version bonnets and genuine ones are much different, especially as most of these places say the moulds are taken directly from original panels.

Vesuvius 996 - Brilliant reply !!!

Lambochick - Out of interest & seeing as you are lucky enough to have a real GT ;-) ... what happens to any water that enters the vent on your bonnet. Does it have some some of drainage channel built into the underside ?

I haven't looked, and I've not had it out in the wet. If I remember the next time I go out to the garage to drool over it, I'll have a look to see if there is anything obvious fro dispensing with excess water.
