GS 1 £258,775
S1NGH £254,000
VIP 1 £285,000
M1 £331,000

Two other plates were sold for £260,000 and one 'over' £300,000, but can't be named for privacy reasons.

Stupid money for a bloody number plate

So that would make " 1 CEO " on the RR Phantom I saw the other week total vehicle value 1/2 million quid. Wow.

A friend of mine ran PMW 1 on his Lotus Elise.
Paul Mark Weisand. When I asked how much he paid for the plate, he said £8 from the motor factors over the road.
Very naughty boy, used to swap them over before hitting Dover and Calais,
did make me smile though

Saw RUM 2 today on an old 3-series touring. Made me laugh, for some reason.

What is good about GS 1?

One of my old neighbours bought K6VIN for £795 in 1994 from the DVLA. Thats got to be worth a few quid by now.

A local Chap (scrap metal dealer!) has a brand new Roller with 'MUF 1' on it!

I always loved "M1 BOM" which was on a blue Diablo around Leeds in the late nineties.

I see S1 and SS1 kicking about in Edinburgh a lot. Not on flash cars either.

Come on? It would look superb on a Vauxhall Cavalier GSi!

One of the coolest I've seen was MU51CAL on a 360 Spider a few years back.

Many many years ago (I'm talking lete 80's) I remember seeing PHY510S....remember staring thinking it looked like a word (I was 14-15)...then saw the sticker "National Association Of Physiotherapists" or simialar on the back window.

essex county council used to have F1 & 1F on the mayors official limos. they offered them to bernie ecclestone for an undiclosed amount...dont know if he took them up on it, but i'd imagine some formula 1 driver would have taken them in a secret deal because i havent seen them for ages...

My dad's next door neighbour earns a fortune logging number plates and publishing books tracking their/ sales/ . history etc. don't remember the name of the current book but it's about 4 inches thick and is good for insomnia!

Used to regularly see a nice Bentley Turbo being driven around near me in West London by a huge guy (we thought it was Frank Bruno).

B16 60Y --->> BIG BOY

Thought that was quite well thought out.

It would need to be B16 BOY mate, as I'm pretty sure your spelling isn't valid, but I know what ya mean.
