Bottled it....Test pipes for sale!
Discussion
No not really I'll keep em for a bit. And they got better I will say that. The sound did improve and sounded superb over 4000rpm but less than 2000rpm and it sounded like a MK1 Cortina with no back box. Seriously. The problem is the volume. It was unbelieavably loud. The Murcie's floor shook, the cd's vibrated inside the player, the side windows rattled, I noticed a flock of sheep running across a field 100yds before I got there. If I used it once a week then fine, but for everyday use as I do its a health risk. It spat flames out though, at least 3 times always on the overun. I know cos theres soot on the rear bumper. So cats back on and its tuneful note is back. I just can't understand how it can sound so crap at idle when the Gallardo with no cats and test pipes sounds fantastic.? Any ideas?
don't know if this helps, this guy makes silenced test bypass pipes for lambo's, when i last called. www.stainless-exhaust.com/index.htm

Because the Gallardo's engine was designed AFTER the invention of the spinning jenny!

So what does that say for the ungainly lump sitting in mine (and no I'm not talking about the other half!
